Our vision for health and justice

Project Legacy is a public-private partnership between the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside and TruEvolution. Upon completion, Project Legacy will provide 49 beds of transitional supportive housing, a fitness center, career center, and wrap around services, all available on one campus.

Take a walk with us on this large-scale project! At the start of construction, the safety of the existing structures posed a challenge. Though issues such as termite damage, wood rotting, and uneven flooring made it unsafe to keep the buildings in their original states, we are elated that the necessary repairs being made to ensure the buildings are safe for the clients, community members, and staff members who will frequent these walls.

We appreciate the support of the surrounding community during this journey of preserving these buildings’ history while also creating a groundbreaking opportunity for underserved demographics in the Inland Empire!

We are excited to keep our community updated with continuing renovation updates. Though numerous issues surfaced during bungalow discovery, the necessary repairs are being made to ensure the buildings are safe and up to date for our clients.

TruEvolution appreciates your patience and support during the remodeling of this historical part of Downtown Riverside. Our goal is to preserve as much as we can and rebuild in alignment with neighborhood aesthetics. In keeping with this goal, we would like to send a special thank you to Old Riverside Foundation for accepting our donated items for reuse such as windows, cabinetry, tiles, door handles, etc. Stay tuned for more updates by subscribing to our Newsletter!
